With a compelling plot, strong performances, widespread appeal, a reunion between Rajnikanth and Amitabh Bachchan after 33 years, a comeback for Fahadh Faasil, and a catchy and amazing background soundtrack by Anirudh Ravichandran, the movie has all the characteristics that fans have come to expect from Rajnikanth’s movie.
The police investigation and interrogation sequences seem to be incomplete and less justified, especially in the first portion of the film, and the second section is just too long for the audiences.

Athiyan (Rajnikanth) believes that the only appropriate punishment for cold blooded offenders should be a violent police encounter. He stubbornly maintains this, much to the dismay and protest of senior judge and human rights lawyer Sathyadev Pande (Amitabh Bachchan). With the assistance of Patrick (Fahadh Faasil), a con man who turned police informant, he solves multiple cases.
He eventually encounters the offenders. After Sharanya (Dushara Vijayan), a devoted teacher, is raped and killed, Athiyan resolves to bring her to justice. Even if the ‘offender’ is also caught and killed, it is eventually found that someone else is the real offender. Athiyan battles not only his guilt for murdering an innocent person but also his search for the real culprit behind this monstrous deed.
Vettaiyan Superhit Movie Plot
The director, TJ Gananavel, and co-writer, B Kiruthika, have made an engaging action movie that captures your interest from beginning to end. The storyline raises ethical concerns about police contacts and puts forth competing points of view. The problems of educational fraud and criminality against women are also given a lot of attention.
The sentences that follow are funny and complement Thalaiva Rajnikanth celebrity power. The screenplay contains minute details that are guaranteed to get people cheering and whistling. However, the movie drags as the second part’s comes near. Another flaw is the incomplete police investigation scenes. Although the plot in the second section also gets somewhat obvious, the execution is still entertaining.
Rajnikanth Supremacy in the Movie
Once more, it is Rajnikanth from the time he walked onstage until he finished the line, there were uncountable whistles and cheers. On screen, he is a never ending source of fun. He was, it is reasonable to say, this one’s main inspiration. Fahadh Faasil is another member of the cast that puts up a terrific performance.
He was the real star of this one, as usual entertainment personified. Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh, Rakshan, Kishore, and Manju Warrier have all expertly depicted their respective characters. However, Amitabh Bachchan and Rana Daggubati are used less. Even if they give their characters everything they have, we nonetheless needed more of them. Despite their limited on-screen time together, it was great to watch the chemistry between Rajnikanth and Amitabh Bachchan after 33 years.
